The Russian and Hybrid Lash Extensions course is an intermediate to advanced training designed for lash technicians who have completed a classic lash extension course. Here’s what the course covers and how it differs from the classic version:

1. Introduction to Russian Lashes - Key differences between classic and Russian techniques - Purpose and style of volume lashes - When and why to use volume lashes for added density and drama

2. Lash Fan Creation Techniques - Hand-making lash fans with ultra-fine lashes (0.03–.07 mm) - Various fan techniques: Wrapping and Pinching - Understanding dimensions from 2D to 6D+

3. Fan Pickup and Placement - Safe and correct methods for picking up fans - Secure application of fans without harming natural lashes

4. Weight Management and Lash Health - Calculating safe weight for natural lashes - Choosing the right diameter and length for lash integrity

5. Advanced Styling and Mapping - Crafting custom lash maps for greater texture and fullness - Various styles including Cat eye, Open eye, and Dolly Eye

6. Retention & Adhesive Control - Proper bonding techniques for fan bases - Managing adhesive quantity for volume fans - Preventing bases from collapsing or splitting . Understanding Hybrid Sets - Definition of a hybrid set (e.g 50% classic, 50% volume

7. Hands-On Practice - Practicing fan-making on a mannequin and a live model - Full set application using volume techniques.

Upon successful demonstration of skills, often assessed through a live model or case study submission, you will receive a CPD certificate in Russian & Hybrid Lash Extensions.
